How do you get inspired to write?

C.J. Cooke Sometimes it is the last thing that I want to do. I tend to find that once I get started I get into the flow and I find it quite easy. If it isn't coming to me then I find it better to just walk away and have a cup of tea, then come back to it. It helps if you are really excited about what you are writing. Sometimes I'll go back and started reading the book from the beginning to get me into it again. It helps me remember what I love about the story and also proof read what I've already done at the same time.
