Titi asked Joseph Delaney:

How many hours work you per day ?

Joseph Delaney It is not the number of hours that I sit at my keyboard that counts - it is how much of the story is in my head before I write. I could sit at my computer for eight hours and do no more than the previous day when I only spent an hour there. I try to write between 500 and 1000 words a day and that is how I mark my first draft progress. Each day I spend more time dreaming than writing and, at the moment, I am also reading a full book per day. At the moment I am reading 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy' and have recently read almost everything by Len Deighton - so you can see I am into the Spy Genre!
