What are you currently working on?

Russ Eanes Since I wrote my first book I have been inspired to write more. I have three in mind. The next book is going to be on another walk, this time in Italy. I walked part of the Via di Francesco last year with my wife and am planning to return this year to walk it for a longer time. The tentative title is something like "Searching for St. Francis." I have had a four decade interstate's in Francis and would like to share some significant themes, such as simplicity, silence and non-violence, all as I walk the trails of Umbria. I think this is a new pilgrimage route that will become more popular.
A second book about walks is developing in my mind, about walking some of the lesser-known pilgrimage routes in southern Spain. That may take a couple of years.
I am also developing a personal memoir of my life with the working title "Blue-eyed Son." If you know Bob Dylan's "Hard Rain" you will understand the significance of the title.
