I just devoured your book. The story was fantastic, the characters well played out and the steaming romance scenes so smoking hot. I am looking for another steamy book for a beach holiday. Any books you could recommend ? What books did you read to inspire you to write your book. P.S. I sure hope you have another book coming our way soon!

Leann,
You might be disappointed to hear this, but I don't typically read steamy books, so I'm not certain that I have any books to recommend that fall under that specific category. Although some enjoyable recent reads include, "Daisy Jones and the Six" by Taylor Jenkins Reid, "The Perfect Find," by Tia Williams, and "My Oxford Year" by Julia Whelan. I always appreciate a good love story, and those three definitely offer that.
I would not say that any books in particular inspired "The Idea Of You," but for research purposes I did revisit D.H. Lawrence's "Lady Chatterley's Lover," Erica Jong's "Fear of Flying," and "The Lover" by Marguerite Duras. Mostly to compare and contrast literary reads in the past that involved some level of sexuality.
Thank you for your kinds words regarding The Idea Of You.
Cheers,
Robinne

You wrote a beautiful love story that I enjoyed listening to on Audible. Perfect narration. I couldn't turn the book off. Do you have plans to write part two with a HEA? I read through your "Ask the Author" notes because I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to see Solene and Hayes together. Thank you for this beautiful story.

Is there more to explore here? Congratulations on such a fine novel. I loved the writing and the subject matter. The characters deserve a revisit. I wonder what happiness looks for them both and if they will ever cross paths again. I look forward to reading more of your work. In support... Judy Ungar Franks

Robinne, I just watched your interview with Taylor Jenkins Reid for Malibu Rising—it was truly one of the best author interviews I’ve seen. You have a magical way of posing questions that feel plucked from the viewers’ minds, seamlessly blending curiosity with insights into the novel’s themes and inspirations. I’m eagerly looking forward to reading your first novel and your interview one day?!
