Hi, Carol,
If you’d like to move in and take care of two elderly parents and the rest of my life, I would happily do nothing but write and get that book done by end of year! Alas, the reality is that Life happens and I’m doing the best I can to write pages whenever I can. Realistically, I don’t see the next book coming out until 2021 or 2022.
And, yes, it will be the last in the series. I don’t believe in beating a dead horse and would love to leave Mellie and Jack alone so they can have their happily ever after.
:-). But never say never to a spin-off series... Stay tuned!

After reading "Flight Patterns" I immediately called my precious "Mom in love/step mom" and told her I had a book she just had to read. Every winter she and my dad go to St. George Island and stay for 3 months. She bought three copies of the book to give away to her friends who have built vacation "winter" homes in Apalachicola. Did you do research or have you been to Apalachicola?
