Having some recent experience with this world I love the gentle way it was handled here. Gracefully Grayson by Ami Polonsky is another book on same topic. (?) I loved the Break Up Doctor series and can hardly wait for Little Bit of Grace to reach the store shelves! soon?

I LOVE that you loved this book, Brenda! I tell a story in the acks of A LITTLE BIT OF GRACE about its release right as I was finishing up Grace and that it was such an inspiration to me. I agree--she handles the subject matter with such realism and depth and sensitivity. Laurie Frankel has been a favorite author of mine since her book GOODBYE FOR NOW (another gorgeous one, if you like her style). I don't know Gracefully Grayson but will look it up. Thanks for the question--GRACE comes out August 11 and I CAN'T WAIT. :)

I'm an aspiring writer, but I'm dealing with two things: I get discouraged every single day because 96% of manuscripts are rejected, and I haven't had an idea for years, literally. There's too many people wanting to be writers, and knowing there's so much competition just kills me a little every day. When I get motivated, immediatly something appears about the industry that kills it. Any tips on how to deal with this?
