Just finished Locke & Key at Netflix and I’m asking myself if this is maybe the right moment to start reading graphic novels. Does anyone has experience with them? And is it a good choice for beginners?

A Fan of Comics Its a really good series and I have a feeling the books might even be better than the show. There's a few different editions for it, so you can get a smaller one and try it out without having to buy omibus or anything. its also finished so no waiting around for a writer on the next one! art is great and its not over the top complicated, Id say its a great series for someone who is just starting with Graphic novels.
Evita Hi!
Before I started reading Locke & Key, I only read one other graphic novel (Sandman, vol1). Personally, I think that Locke & Key is a great series to dive into the world of graphic novels. The story is easy to follow, the drawings aren't too hard to comprehend and, overall, it's just a really great graphic novel. I had a harder time comprehending Sandman, this one is way easier on the eyes of a newbie graphic novel reader and definitely gives you a taste for more! :)
Asia Vighi This is a great graphic novel to start with! The illustrations are very easy to comprehend and there is a decent amount of dialogue included, so you don't have to spend a lot of time to decipher what's happening through the images. I've only started reading graphic novels in the past year or so, and this is by far one of my faves.
Carol If you're looking for a good graphic novel, I'd like to suggest Bone by Jeff Smith.
