Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

George Wallace Well, Operation Golden Dawn has an involved plot. Many of the plot ideas originated from events that happened when I served in submarines. For instance, the scene where SAN FRANCISCO shoots it out with the Indonesia KILO harkens back to a tactical problem that that my instructors sprang on me in the attack trainer during Prospective Commanding Officers School. In my mind, leveraging events like this bring reality t the story.
