HI AGAIN! Hi, I asked this a while back about Prince Justin getting his own books and at the time you were sadly having all those problems with the publishers :'( But from the looks of your comments it sounds like that's all straightened out now right? If so can I ask when Justin might finally meet his love match? I just LOVE that world so bloody much and you made me like him! (hated him in first book!) Plz&Thx :D♥

T.J. Klune Hi. No, the problems have not been straightened out. Hundreds of authors, editors, cover artists, translators are still owed an untold amount of money. I have received the rights back to my books and republished them, but I'm still owed tens of thousands of dollars from Dreamspinner, and there is no relief in sight.

What people need to understand (and this isn't me admonishing you--always ask questions, it's how you'll know!) is how creatively stifling all of this has been. It's hard to want to write when a publisher has screwed you over so bad. It really kills an author's drive.

That being said, I have the backing of a great new publisher in Tor, and I'm so excited about what the future will bring. So much so that last week, I started writing Verania book five! I'm a little rusty, but over the last week, I've written about 25K words of Justin's story. I am taking it one day at a time, so I won't make any promises, but I can say that I've at least started! We'll see how it goes. Thank you! tj
