Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kristi Tailor A Winter's Secret is a continuation of the A Winter's Tale Series, and so, in my mind as I'm plotting out the end of the series my first thought was after what took place in the first three novellas, where are Nicholas and Charlotte now . . . mentally and emotionally? How can I resolve their conflicts naturally without it seeming unrealistic? From there . . . the plot just grew.
