Am I crazy or is Nimue black in the illustrations? Just curious since Netflix didn't go that route if I'm just confused

Bronn From what i remember she is described as dark skinned, with blonde hair. She is always described as very thin, i think her appearance is supposed to remind you that she is Fey, not human.
One of the first things in the novel that I read, was a coloured illustration of Nimue with dark skin and blonde hair.

Netflix made a choice, which i imagine makes it hard for anyone to read the book and then watch the series.(less)
