I love curse words. I hope there are!
Sean Ollett
Sadly, no. I tried writing some in the margins but is just isn't as satisfying as reading a good string of filth!
Martha
I dont remember any curse words. One more thing. I do not like reading curse words either. I do not think it adds anything to the story, The English language has so many beautiful descriptive words why do authors feel the need to add potty mouth words. Dont get me wrong I too have used those words in the past but over the years have tried very hard not to use them. At one time I was corrected by my husband as I didn't even realize I was using them. I worked with a person who was constantly cussing and I picked up a bad habit.

Get over it! The story sometimes demands it!

A book without any cursing is not a book about real humans. Even those of us that don't swear a lot use the odd bad word sometimes, it's a normal part of life.
Janet Friesner
I don't remember seeing any curse words. I cringe when are used.
Haley
Only a couple swear words and the words were justified. You will probably be cursing in your own mind when you read this. Such a beautifully written book that will make you laugh, cry, scream, cry happy tears, and want to read it again. It's that good!
Chase Lin
It's a good book to read, but nowadays, it's hard to find books without it I am afraid. There is a minimum swear words in terms of a book on this kind of topic. There are also some points that make racism, alcoholism, and other bad actions sound bad. Very educative in terms of these topics. Overall, it's a good read. Strongly advise it.
Jill
Some along with an extremely violent rape scene.
Ruby
Nothing to speak of. Great book.
Kristina Anderson
There is some foul language in the book along with violence (rape, murder). Racism and alcoholism is also present.
Lise
Good question, I don't know why some try to make you feel badly for asking. I see at least one good answer for you--this one is tame. We all have our preferences. Anyone who has been around knows in real life there are different degrees of bad language, whether it's "taking the Lord's name in vain" or just a whole lot of "F's." Not everyone does it.
Cheryl
Just finished reading it and if there were curse words they were really minimal. I really don't remember any. Other disturbing things like racism, rape, and murder though but great story well done.
Suzanne
I think one person says "S**t". Other than that no curse words.
Carol
I do not like curse words either. There were curse words, but very few and appropriate to the intensity of the story. There was racism, rape, and murder though, but they were an integral part of the story and kept to a minimum of disturbing description.
Jenny
Are you a child?
Brandon-Tandra Whaley
There are only a few sprinkled throughout, not bad at all!
Stephanie
The N word is used, too.
