What was your inspiration to write your very first book ever? You are one of my all time favorite authors and I’m just curious as to what your “inspiration” was, when it started and how old were you when you started writing?

Colleen Hoover It was in 2011 and I actually have always dreamed of being a writer, but I was at a concert for my favorite band – The Avett Brothers – and they have a lyric in their song that says “Decide what to be and go be it” and so I just felt that in that moment, the next day I started writing my book! I was like “I wanna be a writer I’m gonna go be it!” And as soon as I finished that novel, I got that lyric tattooed.
