Hey Penny! I wanted to know when planning the Knitting in the City series, how far ahead did you plan the books? Did you have everything mapped out years ahead (each book) or did some of the books happen to create themselves along the way (stories or plots that didn't enter your mind until writing said book)?

Hi Elizabeth,
I had everything mapped out years ahead. That stated, as I write each book, sometimes the characters surprise me and I have to change my plan. As well, since I wasn't planning to write a sequel for Janie and Quinn I had to change the overall outline to accommodate Neanderthal Marries Human. However, for the most part, everything is going to plan. ;-)
