Is there a reason why I cannot find Charmcaster hardcover version on either amazon UK or US? the rest of the series are all in hardcover except for that one, I'm confused

Hi Ana,
Most likely because the hardback edition has sold out and was replaced by the paperback editions. In the UK, the Spellslinger series comes out in three editions: hardback and trade paperback first, then six months later the mass-market paperback with sprayed edges. Once the mass-market paperback is released, they don't reprint the hardbacks anymore, so once those run out, they're not available (except used--which is what sometimes appears on eBay and Amazon).
In the U.S., Orbit releases the trade paperback editions with their own covers. There's no U.S. hardcover edition.
If you're desperate for a hardcover copy, reach out to me on my website (decastell.com/contact) and I'll see if I can help.
Best,
Sebastien

Nehra frowned. "Do you always run headlong into certain death?" "Sometimes he walks," Dariana said. "Occasionally he shuffles. Once I'm pretty sure I saw him amble into certain death." Such a simple exchange, but I have never laughed so hard in my life. Even though I still have 2 books left, I don't feel like even that is enough time with Brasti, Kest and Falcio and the rest.

What Genre would you consider "The Greatcoats" to be? Or well maybe should I say sub-genre (for example Grimdark etc) I have read quite a few books after finishing the Greatcoats saga, but I haven't found a series like this. Its really hard to explain but this series in general had a very special feel to it. Hope triumphing over despair?
