Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lisa Matthews Armitage was actually a result of watching Sherlock Holmes while working for the Police! I knew from watching the Robert Downey Jr film and the Sherlock series that I wanted to write a mystery series with an interesting tilt to it, but if I hadn't been working as an Admin Assistant and Typist (I share a lot of my own career history with Armitage), then I don't think I would've found her 'in' to the case. East District HQ is actually based on the Police Station I worked at while I was a District Admin Assistant!
