Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Michael R. Taylor I used to go to university with someone who lived in Cheltenham. Whenever he went home and someone asked me where he was I would say he'd gone to 'Nam! Years later, and having a keen interest in military history, I was keen to write a book with a military type theme and as I was going to set it in the near future I thought, why not set it in a war-ravaged Cheltenham.
