Scratching head about where AC and the follow-ups take place. I was born in Buffalo and a branch of my dad's family helped settle northern central PA. My dad was born in Jamestown, NY and after reading the first page or two to him he said "where?" 😁

Hey Gary! Wharton County and Braxton are fictional. I lived in Pennsylvania and pulled from various experiences those year. Ultimately, I wanted to create a setting that had a little bit of everything (mountains, river, lake, farm, urban)... so I modeled parts of the towns after Bethlehem (where I went to college), and a bunch of small villages about 60 miles from the NY border in central PA.

Have thought about writing books for a long time now but I think what I need is a collaborator with more experience. Or perhaps I only have some great story ideas (from experience & imagination) & need help to flesh them out. It's difficult for me to organize my thoughts & although good at dressing up stories, the thought of writing lots of dialogue makes me feel like giving up. Advice on how to co-author like this?
