I was doing research on my family history and became intrigued with the lived on my great-great-grandparents who moved from Philadelphia to Wyoming and Colorado in the mid-1800s. I was working as a paramedic at the time and used any down time to write stories. They turned into a book using the same timeline as my ancestors.
