Your books are so thoroughly engaging, as I suspect it comes from so much screenplay writing you do. Do you think that keeping your audiences engaged with conversation and plot, helped when you were writing your books?

Sonia Bahl I'm sure all writing helps. I believe the many years spent as a copywriter also deserve a high five. The devotion to brevity, seduction through simplicity and avoiding boredom at all cost, it’s been tattooed into our systems for posterity. Truth be told, when it comes to screenwriting, I do love dialogue. I subscribe to the Aaron Sorkin school of thought: "I consider plot a necessary intrusion on what I really want to do, which is write snappy dialogue."
