L.C. Fowler Ron, I graduated BUD/S and exited the teams almost forty years ago (yes, I'm that young). I honestly believe what was the norm then is not the norm today. I suspect PR/politics of the day is attempting to change all that. Rather it is for the good and/or the bad is up to each individual to answer. (Sorry to answer so late, I've been out of town).
