Goodreads asked Jo M. Sekimonyo:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Jo M. Sekimonyo Keep in mind a book should be an experience, not an artistic acrobatic exercise meant for viewing to remind people that it exists. Be emotionally ready because your self-confidence, your gut is going to be tested throughout this journey. Write anytime you feel inspire; I sent millions of text to myself because you never know when a bright twist to the story you are trying to tell is going to hit you. Writing is the easy part, even formatting pages is a headache. And above all, know your strength and your weakness… (e.g. contract a professional to create your book cover).
