Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Anna Erikssön Bendewald I'm hard at work on two novels that are set in Venice, Italy and Paris, France and the Champagne region of France. My idea was the interaction between people and their best friends -- how they support us and how best to be true to them. The first book sets up the characters and plot and takes us on quite a ride as a main character comes dangerously unhinged. The second book takes us farther down the rabbit-hole with the characters, and their linages back to the beginning of civilization.
