At an extremely challenging time in my life "Thistledown - Midsummer Bedlam" (written in 2017 but released in 2019) did not take me to a world where I would escape. Rather, it tied me to the darkness of that time and place. It seems like an odd thing to say about a tale of faeries, doesn’t it?
That's part of why I say it is a tale of faeries written for grownups. I think adults will feel and relate to the undercurrent of the story.
