My first book, The Girl with the Fierce Eyes, came to me in a moment. Well, that's not entirely true. I was staring out of the window on a rainy day and I saw my MC Jantsia walking towards me. A girl with strange eyes. It took years until the plot was fully fleshed out (and was rewritten more times than I can count). But Jantsia appeared to me fully formed.
