What is it that draws you to Ireland? Is it the history, culture or something else? Also, how come many of your books take place there?

I’m drawn to Ireland in part because a bit of it is in my blood. Our genetic makeup sometimes drives us. The history is powerful, but I don’t address the history in my books, I set my stories in present times. Also, the culture and landscape draw my heart. The people are strong, the countryside beautiful, the music, literature and other forms of art compelling. My first two books take place there because it just seemed a natural fit.
