Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Liza Lugo I was in law school at the time Katrina hit and followed the aftermath for years. I decided to address the issue of continued segregationist policy in a law school thesis. Encouraged by my law professor and GNOFHAC during the research process, I presented the idea to ABC-CLIO to turn the thesis into a book. I am blessed the publisher felt it was a worthy endeavor.
