I started reading Envious Casca 'cuz it's Christmas and I wanted a light mystery but was disappointed as all the characters hate each other . I read Footsteps in the Dark awhile ago and loved it , are there any other books like that by her or do the characters generally follow the patterns of the ones in Envious Casaca? Also why is it called Envious Casca?

EVERY book by Georgette Heyer is great except this one (although it isn't all that bad when finished) and I didn't like Blunt Instrument or Arabella (sp?) because she is too simpering and I like strong women. Also you can skip, but they are relatively good: Civil Contract and Powder and Patch, Cousin Kate, .
