I just finished the Faithful and the Fallen series and its now one of my all time favorite series. I plan to read Of Blood and Bone and know there is a time jump between series. But, I'm so interested in what happens post -Wrath. Do you think you would ever do some short stories revisiting that time period? Specifically the rebuilding of Gramms Hold into "A place of learning. Skill at arms and the healers art."

Hi Paul, it's great to hear from you.
I'm so pleased that you've enjoyed your time in the Banished Lands so far, and I hope that you enjoy Of Blood and Bone just as much as the first series.
I would definitely consider writing some short stories to fill the gap between the two series (about 130 years). In fact, I've already started. I have a short story called 'The Greatest Battle' that takes place about seven years after the events of Wrath. it features many of the main survivors of Wrath, and answers some of the issues you mention.
There are other short stories I'd like to write set in the same period, but it's just a question of finding the time to write them.
'The Greatest Battle' is available in The Art of War anthology.
I hope that helps.

Hi John. Massive fan. I bought Malice on a whim and it paid off greatly. I have a special copy, 1 of 500, signed by yourself. I was surprised because when I ordered it I missed that part in the description. I wish to be a writer myself, and attempting to write a novel and I am just wondering. How did you go about planning the series? Did you take time and plan, or were you able to sit and write without notes?

For my book club's Xmas book swap we need to provide a book written by an author who lives in their old home town and I believe you live in mine! Would you recommend starting people with F&F or A Time of Dread? I'm tempted to get A Time of Dread, simply because I haven't read it yet. ps. I don't suppose there's any signed editions floating around EB?

Hi John! I loved Malice, and can't wait to continue the rest of your series. Unfortunately, I use audiobooks to consume probably 95% of the books I read and currently there is only an audiobook for Malice available on Audible US. Do you know when/if the next three books will ever be released on audio in the US? Thank you!
