I really enjoyed this book but am still confused about something. Was Mirabel/Fate also the story sculptor? Did she actually hide her own heart or did I misunderstand? Also does enyone understand the significance of the Owl King? I was a bit underwhelmed by how his storyline turned out.

Samyukta B So are you saying that the Owl King & the owls wanted to kill Mirabel to end the story? But the story ended when Zachery was killed right?
