Stellar book series Erika - I binged read the trilogy in under a week and a half. Though I was a bit confused by the relationship of the end of the trilogy to the snippets of future history books by Father Tyler and quotes from "The Tearling as a Military Nation." They referred to the events in the book from a future perspective, but these books... well... you know. Can't happen?
Probably depends on how you view the space/time continuum, but my idea was that in the final chapter of Fate, the entire past of the snippets was either wiped out or continued in a completely different timeline. Either way, at that point the old history diverged from the new and everything since the death of Jonathan Tear would have happened very differently.
That said, there's a reason I don't write true science fiction. My grasp of physics could charitably be described as "fuzzy". Very glad you enjoyed the trilogy though.
