How do you get inspired to write?

K.C. Freeman Some days I have to force myself into the office (especially since it has been under renovation for months now) and simply lock the door to keep out the kids, husband, and the phone goes on silent mode.
Other days inspiration hits me and I can't get to my computer fast enough.

Inspiration comes in all forms: music is a huge motivating factor and I've crafted a million scenes in my head simply when a song comes on the radio that hits me the right way. Sometimes it's something I read - like just now I saw a moon name generator game and someone's response clicked a story into my head.
