In your new book, you have used various elements from fairy tales. What is your favourite fairytale, and why?

I love a lot of fairy tales but I am particularly fond of The Snow Queen, I love the atmosphere and the quest-like aspects of it. Little bits of its tone show up in The Starless Sea. (I’m also very fond of Little Red Riding Hood, mostly for aesthetic reasons regarding woods and cloaks and wolves.)
