asked:
Forgive my obtuseness - but what does the book title refer to? Who is the "last widow"? Was it the last woman killed at the survivalist camp - after she thought she'd get out alive after killing all her children? Was it Sara - who has been a widow? I just really don't get the meaning of the title. Can anyone help?

Sara is in fact "THE LAST WIDOW". Refer to Page 372 of the Kindle Edition. Dash, the leader of the white supremacist group, is talking with a very nervous Sara AKA "Dr. Earnshaw" in the novel to conceal her true identity to the cult leader. Sara has just spotted Will, who had infiltrated the group. Meanwhile, an unaware Dash is continuing his discourse with Sara. He declares:
“It is my ardent wish, Dr. Earnshaw, that what we’re doing tomorrow will ensure that good white women such as yourself are no longer afraid.” His hand went to her shoulder. “Once the world is wiped clean of the mongrels and their enablers, we will be free of the kind of crime that took your husband away from you. Police officers will be safe on the streets again. Law and order will be restored. You will be the last widow of your kind.”
It is worthwhile to note that the author previously teases the title of the novel earlier on Page 155 of the Kindle Edition. In this scene Dash has questioned Sara about her family and inquires:
“What does your husband do?” Sara realized the truth might be something that could work to her advantage. “I’m a widow. My husband was a cop. He died in the line of duty.”
