Joy Lynn Goddard I started to write because I wanted to be an investigative journalist. I was a reporter for several years before writing freelance and teaching. I now write full time and love it. I find book promotion daunting, but the best marketing method for a new unknown author would be through social media. allauthor.com is especially helpful I've found. Facebook groups are good as well.
