Where did you get your inspiration for the Asgard Awakening series?

Kendall Grey Hi Jessica! I’ve been a fan of the Norse god Loki and of Norse mythology in general since college. I’m always brewing story ideas and stockpiling them for consideration later. One day I thought, “How fun would it be for Loki to wake up after Ragnarok in modern times? Ooh, and what if he was a woman who couldn’t shift back to his original form?” The idea stuck in my head, and the more I thought about it, the higher up my to-write list it ranked. Finally, I had enough ideas for where to take it, and I started writing. I had so much fun imagining all the scenarios (and TROUBLE!) Loki could find himself in with no grasp of modern American culture while also navigating a new body that didn’t work at all like his old one.
