What is your writing routine? How much? How often? How has it evolved over time?

Amy Rivers I am both a full-time writer and the director of a regional writing organization, so I have to be on top of time management otherwise I don't get much writing done. Currently, I write every day for at least an hour. While I'm writing a new book, which I am in the process of doing right now, I try to write 2-4 hours a day. I don't revise until I've brute forced the first draft out so I spend a lot of time revising. Every once in a while I think I might change things up, make my process more efficient, but as it turns out, this works for me.
