I have read 'In The End' by this author. Is it unusual to have a second book in a series tell the story before the first? I am looking forward to reading "Before the End', and perhaps I will answer my own question once I have read the book. Are there any other authors who write a 'prologue novel' (if that is the correct term) to support the background to the first book?
