I saw your recent interview...You have a marvelous sense of humor (not limited to your books). Wondering what you are like as a coworker as I also am in clinical research (me: pharma R&D), and funny coworkers aren't that common. Also, wondering if Sandra is closest to your alter ego?

Thanks.
I wasn't sure how to answer your first question (re: what I'm like as a co-worker), so I asked one of my colleagues.
He said, "You're highly competent and intimidating."
So I asked, "Yeah, but am I funny?"
He said, "I'm afraid to answer."
So... take that for what it's worth. Also, I'm surprised your CR co-workers aren't funny. I'm in academia, not pharma. Maybe that's the difference...? We're all pretty much eggheads.
Regarding your other question, I share similarities with all the KitC ladies, but I'm not really *like* any of them. I think they might each be an exaggeration of (a different facet of) my personality.

Do you plan writing about J&Q as parents? and I just want to let you know how much I adore everything you write. Your sense of humor, the heroes you create. I'm doing PhD in microbiology and I appreciate that your heroines are strong, independent, smart and funny women - a big thank you for that. Plus it doesn't hurt that your style is so good and it helps me improve my English ;) PS. I started knitting:)
