I just started this book, the second in the series. Did it bother anyone else that suddenly, the narrator is pronouncing Fastitocalon's name completely different than she did in the first audiobook? Same author. Same Narrator. Why is that one name very different? I wince every time the name is said.

Same! I can't stand the new pronunciation. It sounds goofy now. I don't have any ideas about why it happened but I can commiserate.

The "Old English Word Hord" at https://oldenglishwordhord.com/2014/0... says it's FAH-stit-oh-KAL-on / ˈfa-stɪ-tɔ-ˌka-lɔn. But since it's from the Greek Aspido-chelōne, "round-shielded turtle", which would have the derived accent on the last O, I can see there being a different result.
I'd tend to think the current pronunciation is due either to author request or research. So where IS the accent now?
