What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Lisa Towles Just start doing it. Buy a nice new journal and a nice pen (Waterman pens are my favs) and start writing and don't worry about how it sounds or whether it's good or not. It's like a faucet - it takes a little time before the water starts flowing fully and that's fine. Or type on a laptop in a busy coffeehouse, or use the Notes app on your phone.
