My advice to aspiring authors is the same advise that I heard so many times before, so I appreciate the eye rolls... but here goes...
JUST DO IT!
Don't think about it. Don't worry you're not good enough. Don't focus on word counts and rules. Just write.
Be it pen to paper, laptop, smartphone... anything... I cannot stress how important it is to just do it, and do it your own way.
Writing is an art, it can be taught, but the majority of it is you. Your imagination. Your characters. Your world.
Go for it!... I look forward to reading what you come up with!
