Goodreads asked Evan Ramspott:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Evan Ramspott Unequivocally, writing. There is something to be said of the calm that comes with spending months creating art. It is boring at times, sure, but it can be settling, and moody. Some projects are like sorting a one-million-piece puzzle, and others race by like a roller-coaster with sparks popping from the wheels. Even the projects that simply won't ever be anything give pleasure in a way. It's nice to know that failure is an option, and that I can just put that one aside, roll up my sleeves a little further, and dive into the next great idea.
