Michael, I would like to know if you have thought about continuing on with Royce's Story? The Riyria story was concluded with what seemed to be a new beginning. A huge change for Royce in particular. Will we get a chance to see what happens next? I really would love more! Riyria=never boring or old whether Royce and Hadrian are separated or not. P.S.ALL your novels are Brilliant! More is always better! From, Adrian

Hey Adrian, thanks for writing. So, as you may or may not know, I wrote the entire Riyria Revelations before publishing the first novel. Because of that, I have a very definite start and end. When I finished Heir of Novron I felt I had come up with the perfect ending, and I left the series 100% satisfied.
In many ways, I feel like writing more further along in that timeline would have a very real possibility of ruining something that I think is really special. It's a huge risk, and I'm not sure that I want to take that gamble. That said, you were not alone regarding being in love with the pair and wanting to spend more time with Royce and Hadrian. That's why I created the Riyria Chronicles. If you are aren't aware of that series, I went back in time to show how the two met, and my plan is to give readers their "Royce and Hadrian" fix through those books. That said, I don't want "they boys" to overstay their welcome, so I release the Riyria Chronicles in an interesting way. They are standalone by design, such that I can stop writing the books without leaving anyone hanging on a particular plot point. So, I release a Riyria Chronicle, I wait for reader feedback, and if it seems like people want more than I write another. Right now there are four books in that series: The Crown Tower | The Rose and the Thorn | The Death of Dulgath | The Disappearance of Winter's Daughter. Now, we've already determined that THERE WILL be a 5th Chronicle (called Drumindor) but until I have it written, I can't really give a reasonable release date for it.
So, if you've not tried those tales, there are more adventures with the pair in your near future. And as for "post Revelations" - I never say never, but given some of my other projects which are more pressing, I wouldn't count those chickens. Thank for reading, for enjoying the books, and taking the time to ask a question here.

Hi Micheal, a huge fan, read all of Riyria and currently in withdrawal. I'm sure on behalf of all readers l can safely convey the sentiment that our hearts sink when you use words like 'overstay' and 'get tired' of the pair. We can never get tired. Please never think of abandoning Riyria. You are so good with them l think you can write about them in your sleep.Hope you'd get back to them soon? Thanks.

Hey! First of all, I want to thank you for being so active here on Goodreads. It's so awesome being able to chat with authors on here, and too few do it. Second of all, (this question has probably been asked too many times) but do you have any other books/series in the works at the moment?
