How much time do you spend getting the history of the homes and areas that you write about? I love all the details you place into your writing.

Good question! That’s a hard one to answer because my interest and love of Charleston and its history and houses is ongoing. I’m always reading about it and visit as often as I can! I also have a great stash of research books I can always refer back to as I’m writing.

Hi Karen. Just want to say I love your books. The Tradd St. Series was my 1st encounter and took me back to days of living in Charleston. I recently finished The Beach Trees- had a hard time putting that one down. 😀. I also read The Forgotten Room, shared w friends, now listening to The Glass Ocean. I just wrote a review for The Christmas Spirits on Tradd Street and just loved the book. I am new to this series and of course started with the last book and now have to go back and start with book 1. Please tell me there are more books in this series.??!!! Please don't let Jack get off to easy!!

What did you do in business after college and before you decided to write? I am commentating "Flight Patterns'" for our BookGroup and our members like to know about the author's career and how they came to writing. Everyone has said that they really enjoyed reading your well written and thoughtful story. I have enjoyed the Tradd Series also.
