Hello I have a question for you. How did you get your book promoted? I am having a lot of problems selling book. It hasn't gotten promoted. My book is called Poor Starla? Am I doing something wrong ? I just need some help?

Teresa: Sorry for the long delay in replying. I just this morning found your question. I'm not sure I have much to offer in terms of tips, but I can tell you that in 2000, when my first book was released, I knocked on a lot of independent-bookstore doors and asked them to give me a chance. As a former federal judge, is there a courthouse drama in your future about two American presidents slugging it out in federal court, one being accused of obstruction of justice and the other of improperly receiving money from foreign governments through his son? I read Bonfire of the Vanities many years ago. It has stuck with me for so many reasons. Any situation (book, movie, real life) where someone taks a walk on the wild side, makes a wrong turn in the wrong place, is in the wrong place at the wrong time,skinny trophy wives...I flash back to Bonfire...It was brilliant. There was a movie on HBO last year starring John Turturro called "Night Of" which was a of the above. ?
