Hello! Chronicals of Ixia has been my fave series since 2013:) I adore the world and the characters! I have recently been rereading the books and have a few old Qs. What is south of Sitia? A country? How does the jungle end? Is there any language variations throughout S&I? I know that there was the Efe/Ilias language. Can you say what Liana's magic will be like? Were there people in the jungle before Sandseeds? Sorry.

Maria V. Snyder Hello Jenael! I'm honored that my series is your favorite. As for your questions, I really haven't given much thought to what is south of Sitia! That's beyond the edge of the paper ;) I imagine the jungle does end and go into a more grassy plain - like the mirror image of Sitia and Ixia as it would be "down under." Also there will be different dialects throughout Ixia and the Clans, but not enough to be considered another language. Liana's magic is basically a null shield - she blocks others from accessing the power blanket. I'm sure there's always been a tribe of people living in the jungle.
