Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Abby Gordon The fascinating part is how history served up all these delicious events that I could use for the Order of the Rose. Justice of the Root came from the last chapter of The Hidden Rose. It hinges on the arrival in London of Sir Jasper of York, bringing word of rebellion. Justice of the Root covers the same time as The Hidden Rose up to Jasper's arrival and then moves forward from there.
