Goodreads asked Kim E. Wilson:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Kim E. Wilson Oh the dreaded writer's block. Heck, I'm feeling it right now. Ha! It's a common illness of all writers, but here's what I do. I can't force myself to write, so I physically move when I'm having difficulty coming up with an idea. I usually go for a run, a walk, or just get up and step outside. It helps me clear my head to make room for other thoughts. I couldn't decide how I wanted "Bird" to end so I went for a run. Half way through the run "voila," I had me ending.
