Why is Cyrus so hard on Alexander? It's his own son! Not everyone has the talent to be a great spy. I have a feeling Alexander could have done something wonderful with his life if he hadn't been pressured into the spy business just because he's a Hale. How come Cyrus doesn't understand that??

Stuart Gibbs Sadly, I have encountered plenty of fathers like Cyrus in my life. (Thankfully, my own father was not like him at all.)
